Anja Capuzzimati has created a new range of classic, soft fabric shoes for infants in the Japanese Kimono style.  These shoes are perfect to keep toes warm and covered with a casual outfit or something a bit more pretty.  The wide opening and toe box accommodates even the chubbiest little feet and the shoe strap at the back helps keep the shoes on baby’s feet.
The current range has a denim outer and cotton lined inner (pink, green or blue) with a white leather appliqué (flowers, hearts, stars or butterflies).  The two smaller sizes have a fabric sole and the two larger ones have a padded leather sole for walking.

The shoes come in four sizes:  0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 12-18 months.  Remember that age is approximate so it would always be better to measure before buying. If in doubt as to which size fits best, go for a slightly larger size to allow room for growth!

The bag is made from reinforced Jute Coffee Sacks that come from fair trade tea and coffee plantations all over the world (including some Groundnut bags that come from South Africa). The reinforcing is a fused black cotton that adds durability, helps maintain the shape of the bag and lines the inside.

The bag closes with a strong metal zip. On each end of the zip is a pres stud cap that clips down to change the shape and size of the bag.

Our toys have been tested for  safety at SABS and found to be compliant with European Norm EN71 and universal standard ISO8124. They are non toxic and suitable for all ages. This is fantastic for export to Europe as we can now use the CE mark. It really sets us apart in the craft sector.

We have been at Design Indaba and SARCDA International shows this year and are off to the Grahamstown Festival in June. We will be part of the Fringe Exhibition with an exhibit entitled Free Range Friends. Woo-men is teaming up with Pete Woodbridge Illustration for this event. There will be toys for sale, as well as prints and canvasses by Pete.

We have also been selected to be part of the FIFA World Cup Craft Village on the Grand Parade and will be selling our sporty Soccer Ted toys there during June and July. We also hope our Woo Mama characters will be popular with all the visitors to South Africa.

One of our most popular characters with locals is Bed Head and we recently made the first large ones. These cuddlesome beauties retail for R375 and R450 directly from us or at Baraka in the Cape Quarter.

We recently made improvements to our Mr. Tiny stress ball character which is now selling well at Heartworks in the Gardens Centre.
