The Western Cape Furniture Design Competition aims to promote design as one of the key tools for a furniture manufacturer to improve its competitive edge and stimulate economic growth, both locally and internationally.
The competition theme is: LIVE.
The LIVE theme seeks to inspire a creative take on furniture that forms part of living environments – tables, chairs, couches, beds or other furniture from our living environment, indoor or outdoors.
The finalists and awards for the Western Cape Furniture Design Competition 2010 will be presented at Decorex Cape Town from 23 to 27 April 2010, at the Cape Town Convention Centre.
