TOMBOLA. TICKING AND THE EXQUISITE CORPSE ETCHING PLATES AUCTION

Exhibition closes on Friday 27 November 2009 at 1 o clock pm
Tombola in the Main Gallery offers everyone the opportunity to catch a prize.
The Players (actually, they are the buyers of the evening) will rent a fishing rod for R600, and will then fish a number from the fish-pond in the centre of the Downstairs Gallery and take home the artwork with their corresponding number when the exhibition comes down. As only well established artists are invited to participate in this event, disappointment will be restricted to maybe not getting the angler’s favourite artwork, but guaranteeing that they will be getting a valuable artwork (of course swapping is allowed after the event, if it happens in a civilized and agreeable manner).

Ticking an exhibition of artist-made clocks will employ the Artsstrip. Fun, fantastic, useful and perfect TIMING for Christmas gifts.
Etching Plate of ADAM # 1

The Exquisite Corpse etching plates beautifully framed donated by Judy Woodborne will be hung in the Long Gallery, artists participating in the Exquisite Corpse portfolio are Paul Birchall, Christiaan Diedericks, Eunice Geustyn, Richard Kilpert, Theo Kleynhans, Julia Teale, Diane Victor, Judy Woodborne.
Both the above are available through silent auction. Highest bidder takes all.
