I have recently been in London where I met a wonderful British potter, 84 year old Mary Wandrausch. She introduced me to some quotations by Matisse on life and art…hence the above one. The image here is a tile which she made and on which she inscribed a quotation by Matisse. I find it very inspiring to read the thoughts of some of the great artists…
